Frequently Asked Questions
❓Q: When is Mincha?
💬A: The only regularly scheduled minyan we have is twice a month on Shabbos morning.
❓Q: Where can I buy kosher meat?
💬A: We occasionally have meat for sale at Chabad. Call us. Local stores do not stock kosher meats.
❓Q: Can I stay at Chabad's guesthouse for Shabbos?
💬A: Chabad does not have a guesthouse. We recommend finding a hotel or Airbnb. If being near Chabad on Shabbos is important to you, check the distances before booking, taking the extreme heat into consideration.
❓Q: Is there a local Jewish community here?
💬A: Yes. Chabad serves the local Jewish community of Lake Havasu and the surrounding towns.
❓Q: What is the catering menu for Shabbat tonight?
💬A: Please plan ahead of time. Unfortunately, we are not geared to accommodate last-minute requests.
❓Q: What time is Shabbat dinner?
💬A: Chabad does not host a weekly community Shabbat dinner. While you may have been to a Chabad that does, each community is different. If you'd like an invite to a private Shabbat dinner, email us.
❓Q: Why is Chabad so far from my hotel/Airbnb?
💬A: Chabad primarily serves the local Jewish community, hence we are located in the center of the residential part of town. Most hotels are near the London Bridge or on the Island. Likewise, many Airbnbs are on the Southside of town, while we are located in the center.
